El Pucará de Quitoloma es un sitio arqueológico preincaico ubicado en la parroquia de Cangagua, en el cantón de Cayambe, en Ecuador a una altitud de 3780m .Está construido sobre una colina de Pambamarca, en la cordillera oriental de los Andes ecuatorianos. Forma parte del Complejo arqueológico de Pambamarca y posiblemente es el más grande de la sierra norte ecuatoriana. Eso es lo que siempre cuentan sobre Quitoloma pero nunca su experiencia, espero que esto les sirva para que comprenda lo maravilloso que puede ser Quitoloma según mi experiencia y no mediante números ni aburrida información
Yo fui a visitar a Quitoloma con toda mi familia. Es agradable ahí contratamos un guía que nos hizo subir hasta la cima y nos empezó a contar su historia originalmente en Quitoloma eran donde los Indígenas mataban a sus enemigos, habían dicho que esas piedras originalmente los indígenas las pusieron
También nos contó que había una leyenda que sí que intentabas cruzar al otro lado había como un lago hermoso pero ninguno no podía ir ya que la niebla les hacían perderse y que antiguamente habían animales muy salvajes en ese lugar y que por eso tocaba tener mucho cuidado. Ella nos contó que cuando era pequeña esa historia le contaron sus abuelos y que ella sabía pasar por Quitoloma y veía un montón de animales salvajes muy peligrosos pero hoy en día ya no los ahí.
También en ese lugar pude sentir una gran paz y alivio, descubrí también que cada piedra en ese lugar tenía su propia historia y que por eso los que cuidan esos hermosos lugares no mueven sus rocas ya que forma parte de su belleza.
Yo una vez que llegue a la cima íbamos a comer unas papas ya que es cansado subir la montaña especialmente por las mayorías de sus hierbas, pero nosotros llevamos una
funda para no votar la basura,pero también podríamos a ver comido algo abajo ya que también hay lugares donde comer pero decidimos comer viendo es hermosa vista, eso si les recomiendo que vean es a vista
Por eso si vienen a visitar este lugar no boten basura ya que no podemos dañar este hermoso lugar y les recomiendo que visiten este lugar para que aprenda más las historia de nuestro ancestros.
Otra cosa que les recomiendo de este lugar es que abajo pueden comer comida tropical de ahí y disfrutar en familia.
Recomendaciones:
ir abrigado, si se lleva comida llevar una funda porque tienen que ser responsable y no ensuciar nuestro patrimonio, otra recomendación ir con la familia y disfrutar

The Story of the Forgotten
The Pucará the Quitoloma is a pre-Inca archaeological site located in the parish of Cangagua, in the canton of Cayambe, in Ecuador at an altitude of 3780 m. It is built on hill in Pabamarca, in the eastern mountain range of the Ecuadorian Andes. It is part of the Archaeological Complex of Pambamarca and is possibly the largest in the northern Ecuadorian highlands. That is what they always tell about Quitoloma can be according to my experience and not through numbers or boring information.
I went to visit Quitoloma with my whole family. It's nice there we hired a guide who made us climb to the top and began to tell us his story originally in Quitoloma were where the Indians killed their enemies, they had said that those stones originally the Indians put them.
He also told us that there was a legend that yes you tried to cross to the other side there was like a beautiful lake but none could not go since the fog made them get lost and that in the past there were very wild animals in that place and that is why it was necessary to be very careful. She told us that when she was little that story was told to her by her grandparents and that she knew how to go through Quitoloma and saw a lot of very dangerous wild animals but nowadays they are no longer there.
Also in that place I could feel a great peace and relief, I also discovered that each stone in that place had its own history and that is why those who take care of these beautiful places do not move their rocks since it is part of their beautiful.
I once I got to the top we would eat some potatoes as it is tiring to climb the mountain especially for most of its herbs, but we carry one
cover to not vote garbage, but we could also see eaten something downstairs since there are also places to eat but we decided to eat seeing is beautiful view, that if I recommend you to see is in sight
So if you come to visit this place do not throw away garbage as we can not damage this beautiful place and I recommend you to visit this place to learn more about the history of our ancestors.
Another thing I recommend about this place is that downstairs you can eat tropical food from there and enjoy it as a family.
